The thing about writing, and I mean getting something across vs. the physical act of conveying a concept per se, is it’s very important to trust your tools but to still feel that you are learning them as you go. I’ve found that I make better things when I do something I’m not great at. I consider a controlled level of beginner’s luck to be more important than a kind of perfection of skill, like. So there. Which means that I ramble as much in talking as in writing, it’s not because I’m great at it, maybe not even good, but I know that I’m doing it and I know that, in the end, what really matters is still what’s in there, not how it was made, and so I ramble.
